Axis Community Connect isn’t just about serving the community, we’re part of your community. As a group of hundreds of local volunteers who share the common vision of a growing and more resilient community, we’re committed to doing our part to help.

We are here to offer avenues for you to get to know people who share your interests and struggles and ways you can make a difference in the lives of others.

We are here to provide support to you and your family when times are tough.

Food for Kids

Foodbank Australia reports up to one in five kids are coming to Queensland state schools without breakfast or lunch.

Our Food for Kids program provide breakfasts and/or lunches to struggling children and families in 10 local state schools in the City of Moreton Bay.

We do this to help maximise kids' participation, engagement and equal opportunity in their education.

We see the impact that overcrowded schools, business closures and widespread disasters can have on people’s comfort and security—and how it affects us all.

Axis Community Connect exists to respond to this need, supporting those doing it tough and partnering with local organisations through initiatives like “Food for Kids,” “The Lakes Pantry” and school staff support programs.

Based at our permanent North Lakes facility, we offer ongoing emotional and practical care, opportunities to build skills, and referrals to additional services for people of all ages.

Whether you’re a parent looking for a playgroup, someone feeling isolated, navigating unemployment, or a family seeking connection—we’re here for you. As a self-funded, non-profit cooperative, the only hand we extend is a helping one.
